看到這麼多同好討論霹靂的英文翻譯實在很興奮！

前面幾篇討論的是出場詩的部分

我也想跟大家分享一些我之前的想法，是關於其他方面的翻譯

首先，先獻醜給大家看在下過去翻譯的一篇的拙作，內容是「江湖血路劇集的簡介」

原文出處是「霹靂新潮社出版」的「江湖血路劇集攻略本」



以下是中英對照：

    風中行者踏足中原武林，安樂園儲君小還真、梅花島主九霽天相繼慘死，一時之
間，中原武林風聲鶴唳，人人自危。連大名鼎鼎的刀狂劍痴葉小釵，也和風中行者排
行第七的黑木蘭戰成兩敗俱傷。葉小釵傷重昏迷不醒，拂水樓神醫晏定邦為求速效，
遂下猛藥醫治，葉小釵迅速恢復的同時，副作用也漸漸產生，不但個性失去從前的沉
著穩定，成名絕招「心劍」也漸漸喪失。

    With the Wind-Striders treading upon the Middle-Plain, 小還真 the Crown
Prince of Peaceland and 九霽天 the Lord of Plum Isle died a violent death
successively. In no time, the Middle-Plain was captured in a nervous and
fearful atmosphere of war and turmoil, and every Middle-Plainer was anxiously
faced with danger. Even the well-famed swordsman 葉小釵 wasn't spared,
severely injured in a combat against the seventh Wind-Strider 黑木蘭, who was
no better wounded. In order to have 葉小釵 recuperate and come out of coma as
soon as possible, the magic healer 晏定邦 treated him with highly potent
medicine. While 葉小釵 was quickly recovering, side effects came along as
well: he was losing his former placid disposition and thus, his signature
masterstroke "Mind Sword."

    素還真為了葉小釵的安危，親自前往神秘的印心洞養劍樹以自己的智慧替葉小釵
換取一副刀劍，此副刀劍每出鞘一次，素還真的智慧就會退化一次，直到回復成童蒙
之初。
     To ensure 葉小釵's safety, 素還真 went regardless to the mysterious
Mind-echoing Cave in person and exchanged with Sword-breeding Tree his
intelligence for a pair of sword and scimitar for 葉小釵. Each time the
swords got pulled out of the sheath, though, 素還真 would degenerate in his
intelligence--till he was reduced to a child.


    野心勃勃的晏定邦為了一統武林，不惜以自己的青春向養劍樹換取素還真的智慧
。環環相扣之下，葉小釵、素還真與晏定邦三人遂成了密不可分的生命共同體。

     晏定邦, who was so ambitious of ruling the world, made a deal with
Sword-breeding Tree and sacrificed her own youth in exchange for 素還真's
intelligence. 葉小釵, 素還真 and 晏定邦, each one's acts influencing another
accordingly, were consequently bound in a symbiotic relationship.

    晏定邦為鞏固勢力，改與風中行者合作，雙方合作條件除了助風中行者之師血眼
沙陀復活之外，尚須放出囚禁於伏魔井的天魔。

     To secure her clout even further, 晏定邦 turned to the Wind-Striders
for alliance. However, as a condition, she had to provide help in reviving
the bloody-eyed 沙陀, master of the Wind-Striders, as well as release
Arch-Devil, who had been imprisoned in 伏魔 Well.

    天魔重獲自由後，亟欲突破其肉體缺陷，遂決定採用「佛魔合體的方式」，強化
實力。另一方面，遭一頁書與傲神州雙面夾殺的蘅佛子，在走投無路之下回到自己最
初修行之地，並在師尊禪房內發現一封書信，得知佛魔合體可以增強功力。

    Set free, Arch-Devil was urgent to conquer his physical defects, who
eventually decided to increase his strength through "Buddhist-Devil Fusion."
Meanwhile, 蘅佛子, a deviated Buddhist assailed by 一頁書 and 傲神州 at the
same time and forced into an impasse, returned to the place where he had
been instructed and drilled for the very beginning. There in his late
master's meditation room, he found a letter, from which he learned that
Buddhist-Devil Fusion could intensify one's force.

    天魔與蘅佛子於是雙雙來到終魘燼土，尋找傳說中的「雙極舍利子」，進行佛魔
合體。

     Hence, Arch-Devil and 蘅佛子 both came to "Land of the Putrefied" to
look for the legendary "Bipolar Buddhist Sarira" with a view to carrying out
Buddhist-Devil Fusion.

    合體後的天魔神威凜凜，不可一世，一頁書、傲神州與醉劍東岳三人聯手，仍不
是天魔對手。危急之際，一頁書為求保全眾人，施展佛門最高密法「古微生蓮」封鎖
雲渡山。

     After the fusion, Arch-Devil, with his imposing might and uttermost
arrogance, went and battled against 一頁書, 傲神州 and 醉劍東岳, the three
of whom all together somehow turned out to be no rival. At the very critical
moment, 一頁書 deployed the supreme Buddhism technique "Lotus Manifestation,"
sealing off 雲渡 Mountain to protect all three.

    然而魔長道消，合體後的天魔作風越顯極端，武林又將再掀起一場腥風血雨……。

     Alas! Iniquity was overpowering righteousness. With Arch-Devil taking
a more and more extreme course of action, another overwhelming storm of
bloodshed was bound to sweep over the Middle-Plain…
