Greetings Gary,
There is a winemaker in my area (Eastern PA) called Long Trout that
turns out  several odd-sounding wines:
1) Tomato - not bad; I think they added spices to it.
2) Onion - they say this adds flavor to a roast.
3) Watermelon - they also do Honeydew.
