Sorry posting English message, I can't read Taiwanese nor can I
write it, but having interest in Taiwanese (Traditional Chinese).
I've been subscribing to related groups, but mostly read only
member.

Well, I've been having trouble to display your characters,
especially in summary and a signature at bottom line of message
body, most of the characters aren't displayed properly, seems
escape/control character or the like...

I'm using IRIX 6.5, my MUA is sylpheed 1.9 (GTK2) with Xft support.
Command "fc-list" says there are TrueType fonts

"AR PL KaitiM Big5,文鼎ＰＬ中楷"
"AR PL Mingti2L Big5,文鼎ＰＬ細上海宋"

and MUA supports codeset Big5/EUC-TW, so I think there is
another reason (possibly) other than codeset & font. Of course
there is a possibility of auto-detection failure if mail header
has no charset="big5", but there are many characters couldn't be
displayed if mail header has certain 'charset' directive...

Is there anybody else using this MUA on Unix (IRIX, Solaris, AIX,
HP-UX etc.) or any advice? Any comments will be appreciated.

PS. I have screenshots which explain more better than above
mentioned, if you want feel free to send a mail.
