2007國立政治大學臺北模擬聯合國會議

近年來世界各個主要城市在面臨國際競爭的壓力下，紛紛致力於發展國際活動
以提升其在全球舞台上的領導地位。我們希望「2007政治大學台北模擬聯合國會議」
（2007 National Chengchi University Taipei Model United Nations Conference）
的活動可以和台北市做結合，透過城市外交的方式讓與會的學生認識台灣這一個寶島的
美麗。

自推動城市外交以來，台北一向自詡為世界級首都，極力推展與世界接軌的國際事務，
更進一步地成立國際事務委員會籌辦相關活動。然而，我們所舉辦的各種活動當中卻獨
缺模擬聯合國會議；而反觀各大國際城市如紐約、芝加哥、日內瓦、維也納、開羅、
北京或香港都有一個以城市為名並結合城市特色的大型國際模擬聯合國會議。

  有鑒於此，我們舉辦本次活動除了推廣模擬聯合國的概念外也希望因此讓與會的國際
學生們更了解台北的城市之美、提高台北在國際舞台上的能見度、讓台灣得以向國際發
聲。

在5/18前將報名表寄到nccu_mun@yahoo.com.tw (5/6前報名匯款，會議費用將享有折扣)

  PS. Students from NCKU would get discount any time on and before 5/18.

PS. The Model United Nations is one of the finest programs in the world,

you will get to meet many students from overseas and student leaders from

around the island. The issue-oriented and English speaking program is

really worth of going , it's kinda once-in-a-life-time opportunity for you

to experience the way diplomats play in the international community.

If you have any question or wanna seek any teniqucal support such as English,

please feel free to contact Toastmasters Club of NCKU. The board name is :

""Toastmaster"" , welcome to ask questions over there and come visit the club

meetings and English discussion groups that we run before you go to the MUN

program, by the way, you are also welcomed to join any of our preparatory

meetings for MUN in Taipei.
