讓我來試一試不用方程式來概括一下：MFT是統計力學里以場平均值求其它物理值的理論。
通常成�dself-consistent，因�d通常也是用場的平均值來算。

MFT的基本概念就是，在很多小系統相互作用之下，一般很難去把每一對（假設只有two-body作用）
系統之間的作用都加起來，所以MFT以所有作用的平均值代替每一對的互相作用。

另一种說法是，因�d我們的系統由很多相互作用的小系統組成。
每一個小系統受作用是其它小系統對它作用之和。
如果這總作用在各小系統上非常接近它的平均值，或者說flutuation，就是偏離平均值很小的時候
我們可以以這偏離值作�d小參數(small parameter)來分析系統。
MFT可以看成是以flutuation最低度括開的理論。

所以在flutuation大的系統MFT一般不可應用，如低維數系統。
