今天在網路上查rtorrent怎裝

其中
# tar -zxvf curlxxxxxxx
# cd /curlxxx
# ./configure --prefix=/usr
# make


第三行那個 --prefix=/user
是什麼意思
那每次用make都需要這個嗎？

還是看個人習慣呢？

另外我想問一下
大家灌程式，如rtorrent這種
是灌在自已的家目錄嗎？
還是用root灌啊

因為我剛才make install的時候要用root 才能執行，不然會有permission denied的出現
