Retinoic acid: for acne, pigmentation, wrinkles, benign or premalignant
epidermal keratosis, and verruca. This drug can enter the cell necleus and act
via transcriptiona dn translation...
Azelaic acid: dicarboxylic acid, (similar to the enzyme released by
Pityrosporum), can be used to treat acne, pigmentation.
Retinoic acid is more photoallergic than azelic acid.
