Are you looking for a full-time position this summer working at the frontiers
of research in astronomy and astrophysics or telescope instrumentation?
If so, we invite you to apply to the ASIAA Summer Student program, where you
will have the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of an ASIAA
astronomer or physicist. Opportunity is open up to about 10 students with
preference given to the junior level or higher, and who are majoring in
physics, astronomy, chemistry, computer science or engineering. The
successful candidate will work at the ASIAA from 2 July to 31 August. The
salary is NT$20,000 per month. If requested, accommodations could be arranged
at the National Taipei University of Education Student Dormitory this year,
the ASIAA will provide half the accommodation costs (up to about NT$35 per

        A brief description of the research projects offered will be posted on
project description by 2 April. We strongly encourage applicants to indicate
on their application the project or projects of greatest interest to them. To
