A note about the Discussion for General Physiology:
Two clinically relevant discussion topics are scheduled on Feb. 21 (Tuesday):
a) Anemia, b) Exercise and Muscle.
Students are divided into 16 groups (no more than 8 students/group, 4 or 5
Med +
1 or 2 PT + 1 or 2 OT students each group in general). Please see the
attached group list).
Each group should prepare in advance two 15-min PowerPoint presentations for
these two topics, with no more than 15 slides for each file.
The PowerPoint files must be submitted to my e-mail address
(jen@mail.ncku.edu.tw) no later than 12:00, Feb. 20 (Monday).
For each topic, two groups will be randomly selected to present their
materials (15 min each) in front of the class, and four other groups will
comment on these presentations (5 min each). Presentations and comments are
given in Chinese.
Individuals in each group will receive the same Discussion grade, counting
25% of total grade in General Physiology. Extra bonus will be given to those
who give extraordinary presentations/comments or those who receive high
recommendations from their own group mates.
